Starting New School
A social story to prepare your child to start their new school
This is the story of Lily, who was beyond excited to start her new school. She had heard many stories about how much fun it was, and she couldn't wait to see for herself.
On her first day, Lily walked into her new classroom and felt slightly nervous. But then she saw all the other kids, with their friendly and cheerful faces, and she knew she was in good company.
Her new teacher was just as fun as Lily had hoped. They played games, read books, and even did some silly dancing. It was lots of fun
At lunchtime, Lily went to the dinner hall and was amazed by how big it was! She sat down and ate with her new friends.
By the end of the day, Lily was exhausted but happy. She packed up her backpack, waved goodbye to her teacher and headed out, already looking forward to the next day.
The school was even better than Lily had imagined. Who knew learning could be so much fun?
